As Vice President – Investments, Roberta P. Anderson delivers confident advice and tailored plans for the clients at Merritt Point Wealth Advisors. Having gained deep proficiencies in almost every aspect of the financial services industry throughout her three-decade career, there is little Roberta hasn’t seen – or overcome – for those she is privileged to serve.

Roberta’s journey began as a commercial lender at a Connecticut-based bank managing lending relationships for Fairfield County businesses and their owners. Her understanding of the complex relationships and unique personal financial needs of business owners led her to a twenty-three-year career in Private Banking. Directly prior to joining Merritt Point, she managed lending solutions tailored for high-net-worth clients as a Senior Vice President at People’s United Bank. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in finance from Fairfield University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut, Roberta fulfilled the rigorous requirements to earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

Roberta has been involved with local estate planning councils, The American Red Cross, The Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich, and the Greenwich Council – Boy Scouts of America (now Scouts BSA). She is the proud parent of two Eagle Scouts. Passionate about financial literacy for all ages as a CFP® professional, Roberta also regularly volunteers with Junior Achievement. In addition to spending time with her husband Karl of thirty-five years, she enjoys waterskiing, hiking, and golfing when outside of the office.
