Laci Carpenos
Associate

Laci Carpenos is an Associate at Merritt Point Wealth Advisors, where she provides administrative and operational support to Financial Advisors and their clients. In her role, Laci helps enhance the client experience by assisting with onboarding, service requests, monitoring team communications, and supporting marketing campaigns and events. She is dedicated to fostering strong client relationships and helping to ensure the smooth execution of daily operations, all while contributing to the broader success of the practice.

Before joining Merritt Point, Laci gained experience across research, healthcare, and the service industry. Most notably, she designed and executed a full experimental study for Yale’s Department of Psychology, building the project from scratch using PsychoPy coding software and eye-tracking technology. She oversaw every stage of the process, from recruitment and data collection to troubleshooting, ensuring accuracy and high-quality results. This accomplishment reflects her ability to combine intellectual curiosity with technical skill and perseverance.

Laci graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Economics. She looks forward to deepening her knowledge of the wealth management industry and expanding her responsibilities within the team.

Originally from Woodbridge, Connecticut, Laci has remained active in her community through volunteer tutoring programs, neighborhood clean-up initiatives, and fundraising efforts for CASA, an organization supporting abused and neglected children. Outside of the office, Laci enjoys sustainable fashion, spending time in nature, attending concerts, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, and watching films such as Little Women, Interstellar, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Almost Famous. A semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark further shaped her love of community connection and ecological design, deepening her appreciation for cultural perspectives and the natural world.
