John J. Pasacreta Jr. is a Managing Director at Merritt Point Wealth Advisors in Old Greenwich, CT. John started his career over 30 years ago as an intern while attending Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. After receiving his BBA, with a major in Finance and a minor in Public Speaking, he went on to become a Financial Advisor for Paine Webber and has been a registered professional for over 30 years.

As a child John became intrigued by the capital markets through a market savvy Grandfather whose eyes were often glued to the Wall Street ticker as he imparted his wisdom and enthusiasm for equity and fixed income investing. John’s interest carried over into his professional life and he is grateful to do what he is passionate about. John gained the skills needed to respect the various risks associated with investing and the knowledge of how to construct portfolios designed to stand up to the ebb and flows that come with investing in the market.

John is committed to the belief that every client has their own unique needs and is dedicated to providing a tailored approach to those specific goals and aspirations by building a team of experienced professionals including his partner, John G. Rotando – Managing Director, as well as Nancy Meade and Sandra Kapfer as Senior Associates. This cohesive team strives to help its clients to preserve and grow their wealth. The team handles many different areas of planning ranging from Education, Insurance and Retirement solutions for both families and businesses. John is married to his wife Dawn for over 25 years and together they have 3 children Jake, Gianna and Luke. John actively participated in their athletics and education by being a coach and mentor as well as volunteers his time for various church, school and community activities. He enjoys Skiing, Lacrosse, Golf, Music, Food and is truly a “Family Man” and loves what he does.
