Jared Mitchell is a Senior Associate at Merritt Point Wealth Advisors with a strong background in financial services, client operations, and technology support. Before entering wealth management, he worked in business banking, debit card fraud monitoring, and in Microsoft’s technology support team while attending the University of Texas at San Antonio.

At Merritt Point, Jared serves as a primary point of contact for clients, helping to ensure the daily function of their portfolios and executing client instructions with precision. He is skilled in multiple CRM platforms, proficient with investment planning and investment research tools, and experienced in onboarding new clients and preparing account documentation. Earning his Series 7 securities registration remains one of his proudest professional milestones.

Jared was drawn to Merritt Point by the opportunity to help build a growing practice and contribute to a team where effort and outcomes align. He values structure and efficiency in his workday, often starting early to stay ahead of tasks and create time for continued learning and client file organization.

Outside the office, Jared is known for his patience, loyalty, and dedication. A former athlete, he stays connected to competition through coaching his children’s sports teams and supporting their activities. He enjoys traveling with his family, especially to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where his children have been able to connect with their cultural roots. He counts Interstellar and Inception among his favorite films.
