With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in institutional investment consulting, Andrew Pillarella utilizes his experience and diverse skillset for his clients to provide solutions that help them achieve their goals. In his role as Vice President- Investments, Andrew represents Merritt Point Wealth Advisor’s commitment to serving every aspect of our community’s wealth advisory needs through his focus on not-for-profit organizations, endowments, family offices, as well as corporate retirement and pension plans. A conduit to a full suite of resources for institutional clients, he puts a strong emphasis on listening and understanding in order to provide customized advice that meets the specific needs of each client. 

For the past 22 years, Andrew was an Executive Director at some of the largest global investment banks such as Citi and Morgan Stanley. In his role, he helped his institutional clients develop investment ideas as well as product origination. Andrew chose to become independent at Merritt Point Wealth Advisors to enhance the suite of products for his clients with access to a depth of resources. He feels privileged to have learned from some of the best mentors in the world and feels compelled to continue to empower his clients by sharing this knowledge.

In addition to putting his personal welfare on the line for his community as an active volunteer firefighter, Andrew is a strong supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. He has had a lifetime passion for “anything on wheels that is loud, fast, and/or sounds broken” and can be found restoring cars, trucks, and motorcycles in his free time. Andrew grew up in Staten Island, New York, and now resides in Central New Jersey. He is always looking for ways to make things better. Above all else, there is nothing Andrew enjoys more than good conversation over a glass of fine wine or a bourbon over ice while spending quality time with the people who mean the most to him.
